2.25.2014 St. Jude’s Gourmet Gala

The washingtonians celebrated the 16th annual St. Jude Gourmet Gala and tasted cuisine from Chef Chair Maziar Farivar and more than 40 of Washington, D.C.’s top chefs to raise support for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital®. The sold-out event attracted approximately 750 business, financial and political leaders from the Washington, D.C., metropolitan area and raised over $3 Million that night. Event organizers on the Honorary and Advisory Committee this year included Sanju Bansal, Charlotte Pineda, and Chef Chair Maziar Farivar of the Peacock Café. This year’s sponsors included Miracle Partner Sanju K. Bansal Foundation and Angel Partners Everfresh and Airbus.
St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital is leading the way the world understands, treats and defeats childhood cancer and other deadly diseases. Unlike any other hospital, the majority of funding for St. Jude comes from individual contributions. Thanks to generous donors, families never receive a bill from St. Jude for treatment, travel, housing and food — because all a family should worry about is helping their child live.
